Vučić concedes defeat to Serbia’s student-led movement

Aleksandar Vučić conceded defeat to Serbia’s Student List in parliamentary elections on 25 October, Reuters reported. He said sample results showed the student-led movement had won.

Vučić estimated 135–140 seats for the winners and 105 for his side, while stressing that final results were not yet available. Those figures are his preliminary assessment, not a certified seat allocation. The election followed prolonged student-led demonstrations.
